Jakira Davis is a native of Shelby, Mississippi who joined Mike Hostilo Law Firm as an attorney shortly after beginning her legal career. Ms. Davis' lifelong goal was to become an attorney to advocate for those unable to do so for themselves.
Ms. Davis graduated Valedictorian of her high school class and continued her studies at The University of Mississippi. In May 2015 Ms. Davis graduated Cum Laude from The University of Mississippi earning a Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree. In May 2018 Ms. Davis gradated Cum Laude from The University of Mississippi School of Law earning her Doctor of Jurisprudence.
While at The University of Mississippi Ms. Davis was a Gates Millennium Scholar, Luckyday Scholar, Who's Who Recipient, and apart of numerous other organizations and honors societies.
Ms. Davis is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and enjoys serving as a mentor for young girls from her hometown.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and reading.
