One Mission Drives Us All

All I want to do is be in the courtroom.

Troy Gay joined the Mike Hostilo Law Firm in 2019 to bring his years of experience to the litigation team.

Troy’s first experience in law was under the direct supervision of Georgia Supreme Court Justice George T. Smith in 1987 while in law school.  After law school, he started a solo Plaintiff’s PI practice in Decatur, Georgia.

By 1997 Troy moved back to his hometown of Millen, Georgia, where he was appointed County Attorney for Jenkins County in 1998. He served in that capacity through 2017. In 1999, Troy was elected Solicitor-General of Jenkins County, Georgia and served in that capacity until January 2019.

During the late 90s and early 2000s, Troy performed insurance defense work for Clarendon National Ins. Company.  Troy also has extensive domestic relations litigation and criminal defense work for the past 20 years.
